This demo site was built to meet WCAG 2.1 AA. This page describes what that means in practice and what to do if something doesn't work for you.

What the site does

• All text, including text over photography, is checked for AA contrast against what sits behind it.
• Every image carries a written description; decorative elements, like the monogram texture behind sections, are hidden from screen readers.
• The whole page works with a keyboard: a skip link, visible focus outlines, and a logical tab order.
• The animation on the page is purely decorative: the looping storefront video in the header and the way sections fade in as you scroll. None of it hides information, and the page reads exactly the same with motion switched off.
• When your system asks for reduced motion, animation is switched off: the header holds on a still frame, sections simply appear, and nothing moves on scroll.
• Headings are structured, the language is declared, and tap targets are comfortably sized for phones.
• Text can be resized to 200 percent without loss of content or function.

Known limits

• The map in the Visit section is an embedded Google Maps frame, and its internal controls are Google's. The address is also written out in plain text right beside it.

If something doesn't work

If any part of this demo is hard to use with your setup, contact the studio that built it and it will be fixed. This is a demonstration page, so feedback goes to the designer rather than to the barbershop.
